Tiger Seniors Cody Hall and Nkolika Nweke Compete at Nationals

La Crosse, Wisconsin – Tiger seniors Cody Hall and Nkolika Nweke competed at the NCAA Championships on Friday.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

Cody Hall reached the finals of the 110 meter hurdles after finishing second in his heat with a time of 14.61 seconds. Hall's time was the third-fastest among 19 total competitors in the prelims.

Hall was ninth in this event in his first trip to nationals in 2016, then earned All-America honors by finishing fourth in last year's 110 hurdles.

Nkolika Nweke finished 17th in the women's 100 meter dash, posting a time of 12.67 and finishing fifth in the third and final heat of the evening. Nweke was 16th in the 100 meter race at last year's national meet.

 

UP NEXT

The NCAA Championships will conclude on Saturday, May 26, and the final day will feature three Trinity student-athletes. Britney Sullivan begins the action by competing in the women's triple jump at 11:00 a.m. Molly McCullough will race in the finals of the 3,000 meter steeplechase at 11:45 a.m., and Cody Hall runs the finals of the 110 meter hurdles at 12:50 p.m.
