Three Men's Tennis Players Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors

San Antonio - Three members of the Trinity men's tennis team have been designated as Scholar-Athletes by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

Recent graduates Austin Crist and Clark Rivers, along with Lars Wiik garnered the accolade for the 2017-18 campaign. Players who maintain a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher are eligible to become ITA Scholar-Athletes.

Led by ninth-year Head Coach Russell McMindes, the 15th-ranked Tigers completed the season with a 16-12 record. Trinity captured its ninth consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) title and advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship for the ninth year in a row.
