Box Score Houston, Texas - The Trinity men's and women's track & field teams concluded their opening weekend Saturday at the indoor Houston Invitational, hosted by the University of Houston (TX).
HIGHLIGHTS
Molly McCullough placed 12th in a field of 24 highly competitive NCAA Division I and scholarship runners in the women's 3,000-meter run, clocking in a time of 10:42.17.
Jordan Juran finished 15th of 39 competitors in the women's 1-mile run, posting a time of 5:15.04.
David Buss finished 30th in the men's 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:16.29. Buss placed 15th of 20 in his preliminary section.
Chad Conway turned in a time of 2:03.25 in the 800-meter run and finished in 18th place, while Elliot Blake ran the indoor mile in 4:34.83 for 27th place.
The men's 4x400-meter relay team of Sean Majors, Seve Rodriguez, Raphael Martin, and Chad Conway ran the event in 3:29.65 for a 14th place finish in the finals.
Robert Slaybaugh registered a mark of 13.04 meters in the shot put, just .05 meters from the Sam Houston State (TX) University entrant.
