Box Score 2 Rome, Georgia - Trinity's Cameron Krimbill lost a three-set Division III Men's Singles Consolation Semifinals matchup Friday at the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Tiger junior won the first set 6-4, and then lost 2-6, 2-6 to Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY). Krimbill finished in a tie for 11th at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association event, as the Semifinals were the last matches in the Consolation bracket.
Each of Krimbill's matches went three sets. He lost in the first round to Vishnu Joshi of Johns Hopkins (MD) University, and then rallied to beat Antonio Mora of Emory (GA) University in the Consolation rounds.
Krimbill qualified for the tournament by capturing the ITA Southwest Region Singles Championship last month at Georgetown, Texas.
