Box Score Houston, Texas - The Trinity track & field teams returned to the University of Houston (TX) Friday and turned in some superb performances against NCAA Division I and other scholarship athletes at the indoor Howie Ryan Invitational.
HIGHLIGHTS
Molly McCullough chalked up a personal-best indoor time of 10:17.31 in the women's 3,000-meter run and placed fourth in the event, while teammate Brianna Ratliff came in at #7.
Jordan Juran was just .29 seconds off her best time in the 1-mile run and finished in seventh place. Abigail Bannon-Schneebeck was a 13th-place finisher in the 400-meter dash with a PR of 59.51 seconds.
Sean Majors placed third in the men's long jump in a field of 19 competitors, recording a personal-high mark of 6.88 meters.
Robert Slaybaugh finished seventh in the shot put with a mark of 14.48 meters. He bettered his previous high by more than a meter and a half.
Peyton Tuggle was 26th of 49 runners in the 60-meter dash preliminaries and just missed qualifying for the finals. Elliot Blake came in at #16 in the 3,000 meter run.
Seve Rodriguez placed 13th in the 400-meter dash with a personal-best time of 50.40 seconds.
