Houston, Texas - Trinity's track & field team members turned in excellent performances at the Victor Lopez Classic at Rice University on Friday.

HIGHLIGHTS

Brianna Ratliff posted a personal-best time of 18:16.13 for ninth place in the women's 5,000 meters, improving her old mark by some 18 seconds. Molly McCullough placed seventh in the event.

Olive Pertuit came within 0.21 seconds of tying her PR in the 1,500 meters, posting a time of 4:59.88.

Luke Hippensteel ran the men's 1,500 meters with a PR of 4:05.02 for ninth place, a three-second improvement of his previous mark.

Harry Bellow finished the 1,500 meters in 4:03.70 for sixth place, just missing out on his personal-best time.

Trinity will compete Saturday at the D3 Challenge at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas.
