San Antonio - Trinity's Naim Barnett has been tabbed as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

The Tiger sophomore won the triple jump at last week's TLU D3 Challenge in Seguin, Texas, with a  personal-best performance of 14.20 meters. Barnett's mark is currently ranked second in the NCAA Division III and is the best in the SCAC.

The Tigers will compete Friday and Saturday at the Texas State Bobcat Meet in San Marcos, Texas. The Trinity Quad Meet is set for a 10:00 a.m. start on Sunday.
