San Antonio - Trinity's Molly McCullough has been honored as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

The Tiger senior placed seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase last weekend at the Mt. Sac Relays in Torrance, California. McCullough ran against athletes from all NCAA Divisions and crossed the finish line in 10:48.03.

Her time was the fourth-best in the NCAA Division III this season and currently is tops in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference by 47 seconds. McCullough just missed her personal-best mark in the event by six seconds.

Trinity will host the SCAC Men's and Women's Track & Field Championships Friday and Saturday. The action gets under way each day at 8:00 a.m., and the awards ceremony is set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
