Trinity's Blair Walker Competes in Men's 400 Meters

Geneva, Ohio - Trinity's Blair Walker finished 20th Friday in the preliminaries of the men's 400 meters at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

Walker ran the race in 49.81 seconds and did not qualify for Saturday's finals.

The Tiger senior set a school record in the 400 meters with a mark of 47.95 seconds, established at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships last month.

Walker competed in the NCAA Championships for the second straight season, as he was part of last year's 4x100-meter relay team which finished in 16th place.

 

UP NEXT

Seniors Molly McCullough and Abigail Bannon-Schneebeck will represent Trinity Saturday in the respective finals of the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 400-meter hurdles. The steeplechase gets under way at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time, and the 400 hurdles starts at 2:15 p.m.
