San Antonio - Junior Cameron Krimbill and sophomore Christian Settles have been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.

Settles received a similar honor with first-year teammate Hao Nguyen last week. The 13th-ranked Tigers traveled to Abilene, Texas, over the weekend and took on Tyler Junior College and Division I member Abilene Christian (TX) University. Top-ranked Tyler JC beat Trinity 6-1 and Abilene Christian  won 5-2.

Krimbill and Settles only played together in the matchup with Abilene Christian and won #2 doubles 6-3. It marked the first time the talented duo were paired this season. Trinity won two of the three tandems and took the doubles point, playing the Division I format.

Trinity stands at 2-6 this season. The Tigers will make their home debut Friday by playing  Division II member St. Edward's (TX) University at 3:00 p.m. McMurry, from Division III, comes to campus at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Trinity has posted a 2-1 record against DIII opponents.
