San Antonio - Christian Settles was named Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week, while Jordan Pitts and Cameron Krimbill took Doubles Team of the Week kudos from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC).

The players went undefeated at 3-0 in their respective areas, as did 13th-ranked Trinity in last weekend's home matches. The Tigers defeated #39 California Lutheran University and Concordia (TX) University by scores of 9-0 and outfought 16th-ranked Pomona-Pitzer (CA) Colleges 6-3 in the weekend finale.

Settles won his match at #4 singles over California Lutheran and took the second line in the matchup with Concordia. The Tiger sophomore supplied the clincher with Pomona-Pitzer by winning #5 singles. Settles is 6-2 overall this season and has chalked up a 5-1 record against NCAA Division III opponents.

Pitts and Krimbill won the top doubles line in all three matches. The Tiger duo are 4-4 as a doubles team with a 4-2 mark against DIII tandems.

Trinity has won five matches in a row and stands at 7-6 overall. The Tigers have amassed a 6-1 record against DIII teams.

The Tigers will host two matches on Friday, taking on Hardin-Simmons (TX) University and Texas Lutheran University.
