Box Score San Antonio - The Trinity Invitational on Friday was the opening meet of the Tigers track & field teams outdoor season.
HIGHLIGHTS
Makenna Bentley placed second in the women's high jump with a superb mark of 1.68 meters. Her performance is the second highest jump in Trinity history.
Jordan Juran ran the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:06.52. Juran beat her previous best mark by 30 seconds. Her time was in the top-three on Trinity's all-time list.
Liliana Perez won the 800 meters in 2:25.18. Bailey Dueitt took the pole vault with a school top-10 mark of 3.05 meters. Jordyn White was a second-place finisher in the long jump with a top-five mark of 5.42 meters.
Sean Majors won the men's 400 meters with a personal-best time of 49.72 seconds. Majors also captured the long jump at 6.95 meters, in the top-five on Trinity's list.
Naim Barnett emerged as the champion of the triple jump with a mark of 13.64 meters.
Macgregor Arnold and Raini Huynh tied for the lead in the pole vault at 3.80 meters.
The men's 4x100-meter relay team of Romeo de Leon, Chris Stewart, Christian Matta, and Raphael Martin ran the event in 42.06 seconds, a Trinity top-10 mark. Stewart, Matta, and Martin are the three remaining Tiger record-holders in the relay.
