Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Men's Swimming and Diving Team rounds out the top 25 in the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) after a strong start to the season.
The Tigers routed Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Southwestern University by a score of 202-59 to open up the 2021-22 campaign. Trinity then responded by just swimming past Division II UT-Permian Basin by a score of 154-139. The Tigers next two meets were at the D3 Shootout and Colorado College. TU split up sending it's top eight swimmers to the D3 Shootout in Chicago. The men took fifth in the D3 Shootout with the rest of the squad dropping two dual meets by scores of 146-72 and 156.5-55.5.
The men's squad has garnished five SCAC Swimmer and Diver of the Week awards over the course of the season.
Sophomore duo of Konstantine Partalas (San Antonio, Texas / Reagan) and Nathaniel Early (Austin, Texas / Westwood) won men's diver and swimmer of the week for the SCAC after strong performances to open up the season.
Partalas won his second Diver of the Week award after going toe-to-toe with a Division II diver. Sophomore Kendal Southwell (Rio Ranch, N.M. / Calvert Online Academy) notched his first SCAC Swimmer of the Week award that same week after a racing to three total wins on the afternoon.
After Early broke the school record in the 100 yard freestyle last weekend, he earned his second SCAC Swimmer of the week award.

Trinity will host numerous schools in the Tiger Invite that takes place November 19th through November 21st at the Alamo Heights Natatorium.
