LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Seniors Rylie Edwards (Frisco, Texas / Frisco) and Emma Pool (Columbus, Ohio / Upper Arlington) of Trinity University Track & Field have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

The Tiger duo both won events at last weekend's Texas Lutheran University D3 Challenge in Seguin, Texas.

Edwards won the 400-meter hurdles in a SCAC-leading time of 1:07.67. She also placed sixth in the 110 hurdles with a mark of 16.87 and ran a leg on the second place 4x400 team.

Pool won the pole vault at Texas Lutheran with a season-best mark of 3.18m, also the leading mark across the conference.

Trinity Track & Field heads to San Angelo, Texas this weekend to take part in the Angelo State University Relays.
