LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University Track & Field swept the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's weekly laurels, following the University of the Incarnate Word Invitational last weekend, the league office announced Tuesday.

Kierra Francois (Rosharon, Texas / Arlington) took Trinity's second women's Field Athlete of the Week honor of the season after eclipsing a 20-year school-record in the hammer throw with a heave of 41.75m on Friday, followed by an all-time Trinity fourth-best 38.80m discus performance on Saturday.

2020-21 SCAC Women's Cross Country champion Jordan Juran (Littleton, Colo. / Chatfield) notched the Tigers' fourth women's Track Athlete of the Week award as she pushed the pace in the 5,000m, coming within seconds of victory at 18:25.25.

Trinity Track & Field heads to the campus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville this weekend to compete in the Cactus Cup meet.
