The Tigers (3-5) are coming off a win against No. 22 Carnegie Mellon. Trinity went down 1-2 after doubles play but came roaring back for a 6-2 win. Aashish Dhanani (Austin, Texas / Westwood) sealed the deal with a two-set win after winning his #4 singles match with an epic 7-3 tiebreaker win. The Tigers earned tough wins and lots of momentum heading into spring break.

Preview - Spring Break

The Tigers will start the week against No. 8 Chicago on Tuesday, March 12th at 3:00 PM. Then, they will take on Rhodes College on March 13th at 3:00 PM. After a day off, Trinity will play against No. 13 Swarthmore College on March 15th at 10:00 AM and turn around and play No. 30 Wesleyan (CT) on March 16th at 4:00 PM.

Scouting the Competition: The schools coming to play at the Butch Newman Tennis Center have a combined record of 20-2. Chicago sports the number 8 singles player and number 18 doubles team in the country. The Tigers are no stranger to competition though, as they have already played four ranked teams this season and high-ranking doubles and singles players. These matches will be very competitive for a Tiger team that is looking to build momentum heading into the back end of their schedule.

Looking Ahead

The Tigers will play three matches in a weekend, starting with No. 1 Emory University on March 22nd.
