ROME, Ga. – Trinity University's men's tennis continued its run in the Consolations at the ITA Cup on Saturday.
The doubles team of
Ethan Flores (Houston, Texas / Clear Lake) and
Roshin Kamath (League City, Texas / Clear Springs) kept up its strong play this weekend with another victory. They defeated Joshua Kim and Mukundh Boopathi of Johns Hopkins University (MD) 6-3, 6-3 for their second straight win, following the first round defeat against the second-seeded doubles team in the tournament.
Kishan Kersten (Plano, Texas / West) forced a third set, but fell short in a 1-6, 6-2, 2-6 loss to Ivan Kisic of Ithaca College (NY).
Kersten will finish his weekend against Dominik Knutson from Gustavus Adolphus College (MN) tomorrow, while Flores and Kamath wrap up against Heyang Li and Albert Mackey from the University of Chicago (IL) on Sunday.
