MINNEAPOLIS – Tiger football senior offensive lineman
Caleb Bayer (Grandview, Texas / Grandview) has added another postseason award to his rapidly-filling trophy case for the 2025 season.
Bayer was announced as a First Team All-American by D3football.com, marking his third All-American accolade of the year. He was also named a First Team All-American by both the Associated Press and the American Football Coaches Association. Earlier this month, he was a First Team All-Region selection by D3football.com. Additionally, he was a First Team All-Southern Athletic Association performer and was most recently named to the Dave Campbell's Texas Football All-Texas Non-FBS team.
Bayer led Trinity University to a 10-2 overall record this season, finishing second in the SAA but earning a spot in the NCAA Playoffs for the fifth consecutive year. The Tigers reached the third round of the postseason tournament for the first time since 2002, reaching double-digit wins for the third time in the last five years.
