Trinity Track & Field Places 12 Athletes on USTFCCCA All-Region Teams

NEW ORLEANS – Trinity University's men's and women's track & field teams had 12 student-athletes receive All-Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season, as recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The USTFCCCA announced the honorees following the conclusion of the regular season. All-Region honors are awarded to the top five individuals in each event from each region, as well as members of the top-three ranked relay teams. Data for these selections is compiled based on performances uploaded to AthleticNET throughout the season. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for these prestigious awards.

Honorees for the women's team include senior Joy Areola (Tomball, Texas / Rosehill Christian) in both the long jump and triple jump, first-year Annabelle Lanik (Sugar Land, Texas / St. John's) in the long jump, fellow first-year Addison Doss (Sugar Land, Texas / Logos Preparatory Academy) in the pole vault, and senior Danya Selber (Edinburg, Texas / Robert Vela) in both the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. Areola will compete at the NCAA Championships in the triple jump, while Lanik will compete in the long jump, and Selber earned a spot at nationals in the 100 hurdles.

On the men's side, Legend Grigsby (Houston, Texas / Cypress Creek), Nicolas Ladreyt (Santa Monica, Calif. / Harvard-Westlake School), Orie Piken (Torrance, Calif. / West Torrance), Price Schultea (Cypress, Texas / Cypress Christian), Ryan Forson ( / ), and Jackson Gallagher (Ft. Worth, Texas / Southwest Christian) earned recognition in the 4x100-meter relay. Bocar Diagana (Edina, Minn. / Edina) was honored for his performance in the triple jump, while Kris Duggan (San Antonio, Texas / Johnson) received recognition in the 110-meter hurdles, and Schultea also earned an All-Region spot in the 200 meters. Grigsby, Ladreyt, Piken, and Schultea will be competing at the NCAA Championships in the relay, while Diagana also qualified in the triple jump.

The 2025 NCAA Championships begin Thursday, May 22, and run through Saturday, May 24. The meet will be held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
