GILBERT, Ariz. – Trinity University's men's tennis program has been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning the prestigious Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team distinction for the 2024–25 academic year.
In addition to the team honor, eight Trinity student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes:
Rob Chang (Aiea, Hawaii / 'Iolani School),
Aashish Dhanani (Austin, Texas / Westwood),
Eric Liao (Taipei, Taiwan / Boca Prep),
Dalton Locke (Humble, Texas / Kingwood),
Ivan Nikolovski (Alpine, N.J. / Dwight Global),
Ethan Ruppanner (Amarillo, Texas / Tascosa),
Hai Vo (Binh Duong, Vietnam / Harvest Christian Academy), and
Connor Whittington (Lake Oswego, Ore. / Lake Oswego).
The ITA All-Academic Team award is presented to programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.2 or higher, with all varsity letter winners factored into the cumulative average. Individual Scholar-Athlete recognition requires a GPA of at least 3.5 and inclusion on the institutional eligibility form.
Trinity joins 134 other Division III men's programs nationwide in receiving the All-Academic Team designation, while over 1,100 student-athletes earned individual honors this year.
